PODĚBRADY

Podebrady is one of the most famous spas with the traditional cure of the mineral water. Thanks the successful spa treatments, availability of preventive curative stays, a rich of cultural offer and sport activities /f.e. tennis, golf, riding, surfing etc./, favourable situation in a nice landscape /50 km from Prague/ are Podebrady much frequented spa.

FRANTIŠKOVY LÁZNĚ

The world famous spa Františkovy Lázně composes together with Karlovy Vary and Mariánské Lázně the so called “spa triangle” in West Bohemia. It was founded by Emperor Francis I. on an initiative of the Cheb’s doctor Adler in April 1793. However its mineral water was known already in the medieval age and as history teaches us, even around the year 1600 water was exported in ceramic bottles to many towns of Europe. Local healing springs, gases and peat from near peat deposits and other natural sources helped to heal some serious diseases including the female infertility. The spa is well known by its very nice architecture, many parks and English parks that thought fully surrounded by promenades and colonnades. Green, peaceful and quiet milieu supports success of spa treatments.

MARIÁNSKE LÁZNĚ

The world famous curative and recovery reasort Mariánské Lázne is situated in a wooded valley on the approximate sea level 630 m. In the relatively small area there spring about 40 curative wells. There are about 100 more wells in widerenvirons. The fame of Mariánské Lázne consists in drink ing of mineral waters. Other springs are used for curative baths. The omni present green and romantic architecture of hotels, pension sand spa facilities are typical for Mariánské Lázne. There are many historical monuments in the neighbourhood of Mariánské Lázne. The international Chopin festival and Dumb show festival are already traditional.

KARLOVY VARY

The most famous spa town in the Czech Republic - founded by the Czech and Roman Emperor Charles IV. in the year 1358. Twelve mineral springs gush out of theground here with a temperature of 30°C to 72°C. The Carlsbad thermal water is used for drinking cure, for the baths and for irrigations. Natural curative sources are usedin combination with latest medical methods.
