Victory Day in Europe -- 8 May

The holiday commemorates the surrender of Nazi Germany to the Allies which marked the end of Adolf Hitler’s regime as well as the end of II War of World in Europe. Many countries observe Victory Day on 8 May, some others celebrate the day on 9 May.
